Meetings

PAWS meets the first Wednesday of each month (except for January). Our meetings are held in the Horizon High School Media Center. Meetings begin at 6:30 pm and end around 8:00 pm. Regular monthly meetings are open to the public.

We encourage any parent to come join our meetings as they are open to the public. Come hear about all exciting things going on at Horizon High School and be a part of this amazing community of parent volunteers! We couldn’t do it without the support of our parents and volunteers!

Active members of PAWS will have the opportunity to address the group during our monthly meeting as a walk-on item with a time limit of 5 minutes.  Non-PAWS members must make arrangements at least 48 hours in advance of the monthly meeting by discussing the topic with an Executive Board member and being placed on the agenda if time permits. If you are a vendor and wish to make a presentation for services, please contact the PAWS President, Polly Maloich at polly.maloich@gmail.com

2017-2018 PAWS General Board Meetings:

PAWS general board meetings will be held in the Media Center at 6:30 PM on the following days:

11/1/2017, 12/6/2017, 2/7/2018, 3/7/2018 (cafeteria), 4/4/2018, and 5/2/18

 

The Media Center is located in the main school building, near the front office.

Mandatory PAWS Operations Manual Meetings:

PAWS holds two mandatory Operations Manual Meetings each calendar school year. Typically one in September and then in April.

This meeting is mandatory for all clubs Presidents and Treasurer’s.  If your President and Treasurer do not attend the September 27th, 2017 meeting, they must attend the April 2018 meeting (date to be determined).  If you have any questions, please contact Polly Maloich.
