Lunch Program

The lunch partnership with Subway is a great way for parents, grandparents, or any adult interested in helping clubs at Horizon raise money.   Clubs can earn 15% of the day's profits for any participating club by working during the lunch hour at this vendor.

We are excited to work with Subway and ask that you support their main location at 64th Street and Greenway!

Lunch Volunteer Guidelines

If you are interested in volunteering for your club, you must have paid your PAWS membership dues in order to be assigned to lunch duty.  You must also complete a Volunteer form and turn it into the office in order to be on campus to help with lunch duty.

Here's what you do the day you are assigned.....

1)  Be very prompt at 11:15 - staying through the entire lunch period (lunch starts at 11:30 and ends at 12:00).
2)  Wear something comfortable.  It is a very fast-paced 20-30 minutes.
3)  Come to the school front office and sign in with the front desk receptionist, who will give you a visitor's badge.
4)  Find the Subway booth, located in the quad.
5)  You will meet with the Subway employee and he/she handles all the money.  You will either give the sandwich to him/her or the student.  The Subway employee will let you know what he/she needs help with.
6)  In order for your club/group to get paid, the Subway employee will complete a vendor form that shows the sales for the day.  The volunteer needs to sign the form at the bottom and fill in the club/group they are working for.  Submit your vendor sheet in the PAWS bin at the front desk where you originally signed in.

We try to post new monthly calendars by the 25th day of the current month.  Look at your district calendar to make sure the date you wish to volunteer is not a school holiday or 1/2 day of school (We try to catch them all, but sometimes we miss one)!

The dates marked with names have been spoken for to work the lunch booth.

Remember - Subway will be relying on you for assistance, so please don't forget your date.
