What is PAWS all about ?
PAWS is the Horizon High School Booster Club.
PAWS stands for Parents Association Working for our School.
PAWS is a volunteer work force that supplements and supports Horizon High School
There are many exciting things going on with
PAWS
and how we make a difference at Horizon.

How does PAWS raise the
necessary money?
PAWS is a non-profit organization that is funded through ....
So how do YOU get involved with this dynamic group of individuals ?
YOU GET PAWed !
through fundraising that supports scholarships,
graduation events, school related activities, fine art programs,
sports programs, grants, anti bullying programs,
drug and alcohol prevention,
and continuing communication between the district, administration, staff and parents.
Provides additional financial assistance to any and all clubs, programs, organizations
and sports teams on campus
Extends our non-profit status to all groups that belong to PAWS allowing for
better fundraising opportunities
Carries the liability insurance that covers our groups
Harnesses the power of various fundraising programs
Distributes several thousand dollars annually in scholarships to graduating
seniors
Hosts the annual Farewell Fiesta - the all night drug-free and alcohol-free party for graduating
seniors
Offers parents a way to continue to stay involved with their student's life
and make new friends at the same time. PAWS has many places to volunteer -
on and off campus
